Electrical Troubleshooting & Repairs

Intermittent electrical faults are the hardest problems to chase and the easiest to patch badly. We trace them properly, find the actual cause, and repair it so the fault does not come back next month.

What we do

Tripping breakers, dead outlets, flickering lights, burning smells — we diagnose the cause, not just the symptom.

Diagnosis before repair

A breaker that trips is doing its job — something is drawing more current than the circuit allows, or there is a fault somewhere on it. We isolate the circuit, test under load, and identify whether it is an overload, a damaged conductor, a failing device, or a shared neutral problem.

Safety issues we take seriously

Burning smells, scorch marks, warm outlets, and shocks from appliances are urgent. If you notice any of these, shut the circuit off and call. We would rather check something that turns out to be minor than be called after a fire.

Common questions

Why does my breaker keep tripping?

Either the circuit is genuinely overloaded, or there is a fault — a damaged wire, a failing device, or moisture in a box. Repeatedly resetting it without finding the cause is the one thing you should not do.

Do you charge for diagnosis?

Troubleshooting is billed for the time it takes to locate the fault, and we tell you the rate before we start. Once the cause is found, you get the repair options and cost in writing.

Can you check a house before I buy it?

Yes. We can inspect the panel, wiring type, grounding and devices, and give you a clear picture of what the electrical system will need.
